The City of Richardson is very proud and excited to once again offer one of the staples of our community. Our Marionette and Drama program is back and ready to sprint to an amazing fun-filled summer. Participants will gain experience in making marionettes, props, backdrops and learn various techniques involved in putting on a marionette show. You can also come to share your talents as an actor/actress and learn how to capture the audience with suspense, drama and comedy! Not into acting? That's okay...help design/construct props and backdrops to be a part of the costume or make-up crew. The choice is yours!! Come out and pull the strings and be a star in this incredible program!!

Ages: 11-15
Instructor: Victoria Brown-Wilson
Location: Jess Harben Elementary
Camp Times: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM
Cost: $125 per two week session.

Marionette Shows will be on the Wednesday nights and Friday mornings of each camp session. They will be held at Huffhines Park and will start at 7:30PM on Wednesdays and 10:00AM on Fridays. (Shows may be cancelled due to weather)

Drama Performances will be the second Friday in each two-session. The performance will be held at Huffhines Recreation Center and will begin at 7:00 PM.

Admission to all shows is FREE!
